Bash for the Badge
Celebrate our local police officers and their families. The $25 admission price includes food, live entertainment, access to bid on many great prizes, and a wonderful evening celebrating our heroes. All proceeds will be donated and multiple forms of fundraising will be available for you to enjoy!
Warrior Workout
Each year we celebrate Officer Chris Oberheim’s life through a “Warrior Workout” dedicated to him & his love of fitness.
Don’t let the name scare you. The workout will be led by Fitness Trainer, Mark Briggs, and suitable for all levels of fitness.
2nd Annual Party for the Police
Join the party on December 3rd at Carmon’s in Champaign, Illinois. Enjoy an evening of live and silent auctions, raffles, food and more.
Special guests include: Lee Greenwood, David Clarke, Duane “Dog” Chapman, Dan Hampton and Michael Winslow.
We Run Blue
Head over to Rochester, Il and sign up for the 2nd Annual “We Run Blue 5K & 1-mile Walk” on Saturday, October 22nd at their Community Park in conjunction with their Family Fall Festival.

Amber Oberheim will be our featured speaker this year. She is the widow of Champaign Police Officer Chris Oberheim. Amber’s strong faith allows her to move forward with her God-serving mission in honor of her husband. She is also the President and Founder of Peacemaker Project 703 that advocates for law enforcement officers in various ways across the country.

THE 2ND ANNUAL NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT SURVIVAL SUMMIT
Law enforcement officers are experiencing injuries and many other traumatic events in the line of duty at unprecedented levels. The National Law Enforcement Survival Summit is designed to help offices prevent injuries and to prepare you for dealing with these unfortunate experiences.
Chris Oberheim Memorial Softball Game
Make plans to attend the Chris Oberheim Memorial Softball game on September 17th at the Danville Stadium. This evening will feature a three game slow-pitch softball series between members of the Danville Police Department, the Champaign Police Department and the Decatur Police Department.
This free community event is a family friendly charity experience and opportunity for the community to gather in support of a great cause.
Gates open at 3 PM.
9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
Head out to the Hampton Inn in Mt. Zion as they honor those who lost their lives and those who have been impacted by the events of 9/11/2001. They will host a Memorial Stair climb and have the largest flag in Macon County flying that day. Bring your family out to support the climbers and take time to honor all of those who sacrificed so much for so many.

The Bethany Celebration: Back the Blue
Save the Date! The Bethany Celebration is celebrating 145 years AND hosting a 5K.
Law Enforcement Wellness Support Event
This one-day event will bring together law enforcement of all ranks with services and organizations specializing in first responder wellness and counseling. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with peers as well as learn about resources and programs available in Illinois.
100 Club of Illinois- Champaign Membership Drive
Join the 100 Club of Illinois for appetizers and live music by Kankakeeland's very own Classic Rock Band "The Silhouettes", and show support for our first responders. This event is open to community members to bring awareness about the 100 Club of Illinois mission and program resources. Donations will be accepted at the door.
